Dr. Phil recommends foods that need a good amount of work and labor to fix, also not eaten quickly, and are not fast foods.
Foods that give plenty of nutrients, like from carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, fiber. Of course those that are comparative to the calories they have. They must not be processed foods, and are not loaded with sugar, fat or additives.
Foods like fruits and vegetables, whole grains, eggs, fish, lean meats, legumes, tofu, non-fat milk products, soy products, water and herbal teas. Soup is another excellent food because it is satisfying and takes a while to eat.
He also recommends meal replacement beverages and bars such as those that are developed with a balance of nutrients that include protein, carbs, vitamins, minerals and other natural components. They will keep you from going astray when you are exhausted, tied up, or otherwise obligated. Keep in mind that they are not a substitute for a balanced meal.
For greater fat loss, reduce intake of starchy vegetables, says Dr. Phil claims that a greater loss of fat will be accomplished if you take in less starchy veggies. Use very little fats and oils per day. Snack on fruits, vegetables or products from low-fat.
Plan your meals and control portion sizes along with eating unhurriedly. Keep your alcohol drinks to a bare minimum.
